Integrity Non-Sedated ABR - by Vivosonic

"As an audiologist working with children with special health care and educational needs, I used to have a very difficult time completing non-sedated ABR assessments due to noise and movement during testing. Historically, young children and special needs adults have required sedation for ABR testing. The Integrity Non-Sedated ABR, OAE, Non-Invasive ECochG - by Vivosonic is the first wireless ABR System that makes sedation an unecessary and costly requirement. As a result, Integrity not only enables superior clinical performance, it allows for improved patient care and economic efficiency.

Integrity accomplishes this using Vivosonic’s patented algorithm (Kalman Weighted Filtering) to 'tune out’ additional muscular activity while optimizing digital signal processing at the source via the Amplitrode™. This dramatically reduces artifacts which result from other muscular and ocular electrical activity.

The first system to possess wireless capabilities, Integrity is a revolution in portable diagnostics, fitting unobtrusively on an alert child’s back who is playing quietly during testing, or into the OR. In addition, the Amplitrode (a miniature electrode mounted bio-amplifier) protects against electromagnetic noise, delivering clear results in places with electric and magnetic interferences such as Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU), hospitals, military medical centers, Operating Rooms (OR) and other clinical settings. Integrity is also valuable in the rare instances where anesthesia is necessary and can be used for intra-operative monitoring.

The OAE package includes an external general-use probe (vented and serviceable) that consists of the smallest Knowles microphones and powerful mid-size receivers (speakers), a dual-microphone design which provides an additional 3 dB of signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and an ultra-soft, 2m (6.7 ft) long cable with clothing clip.

An OAE Probe is standard with all Vivosonic DPOAE/TEOAE systems and fits comfortably into the ears of almost any adult or child. Earmuffs are also included for additional noise reduction.
